Bi-Fold Doors in 3/8" Glass using Zurich Hinges

The Shower Door System at right is supported at the top with a Top Hung Track and U-Shaped Patch Roller System. The cost was about $2500.

These are not illegal in California because you cannot get trapped in the shower.

At right is a four panel Bi-Fold Tub Partition. There is no handle as you can see in the next photo below.
Each panel is 9" wide.

Zurich Hinges are rated for more weight and width of door than most other hinges.
2 - Hinges hold 100lbs and 36" wide glass
3 - Hinges hold 150 lb. and 40" wide glass.
The width is the total of the panels supported by the first hinge.
So if you had a 13" Fixed First panel and three hinges panels after that. They could all be stored next to the 13" panel and when extended would cover an opening of 52".

With four panels nine inches wide for a total coverage of thirty six inches the price would be $1361 with vinyl in the SF Bay area or in western Pennsylvania.
